Melting,
I fade into silence.
You ask more of me
Than I can give.
Shattered,
I fade into the background,
A ghostly image superimposed on your life.
Why won't you let me rest in peace?
Perfection I always have to find for you.

So slowly that even I don't realise how little is left.
